The  Forest Research Institute has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification (Advt. No. 1/FRI/GC/2026 Date: 04/05/2026) to fill 91 Library Information Assistant, Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research), Stenographer Grade II, Technician (Field/Lab Research), Store Keeper, Technician (Maintenance), Lower Division Clerk, Forest Guard, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this Forest Research Institute i.e. https://fridu.edu.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 04.05.2026 at 12.00 AM for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 03.06.2026 at 11.59 PM

கல்வி தகுதி : 

1. Library Information Assistant – 
   • Graduation from a recognized university. 
   • Bachelor’s degree in Library  Science from a recognized university.
2. Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research) – 
   • Bachelor’s degree in Science from an accredited university. 
   • Must have studied at least one of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Environment, Ecology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, Geology, or Biochemistry. 
3. Stenographer Grade II – 
   • 12th Class certificate from a recognized Board. 
   • Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English/Hindi Stenography. 
   • Certificate course in Computer Applications – typing speed of 5 key-depressions per word. 
4. Technician (Field/Lab Research) – 
   • 10+2 in Science stream from a recognized Board with an overall 60% marks or equivalent qualification. 
5. Store Keeper – 
   • 12th Pass from a recognized Board. 
6. Technician (Maintenance) – 
   • Matriculation (10th) pass from a recognized Board, along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or a certificate course from a government-recognized institute.
7. Lower Division Clerk – 
   • 12th Class certificate from a recognized Board. 
   • Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
8. Forest Guard –
   • 12th pass in Science from a government-recognized board.
9. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – 
   • Essential: 10th class pass from a recognized board/school. 
   • Desirable: 3 years or more experience in the relevant field.

2. Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research) – 21 to 30 Years 
3. Stenographer Grade II – 18 to 27 Years 
4. Technician (Field/Lab Research) – 18 to 30 Years

6. Technician (Maintenance) – 18 to 30 Years
7. LDC – 18 to 27 Years
8. Forest Guard – 18 to 27 Years
9. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – 18 to 27 Years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• +5 Years for ST/SC  
• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
• Persons with Disabilities candidate:
  • +10 Years for UR  
  • +13 Years for OBC (NCL)  
  • +15 Years for ST/SC
