The Staff Selection Commission has released its latest official recruitment notification (Advt. No. HQ-C11017/1/2026-C-1) to fill the 84 Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2026 Posts. Applicants meeting the requirements notified may submit their application through online mode from 23.04.2026 to 14.05.2026 and the Online Application form facility can be accessed through Staff Selection Commission website https://ssc.gov.in/ (Career Page)

கல்வி தகுதி : 

• For post codes “A” to “C” (Junior Hindi Translator/Junior Translation Officer/Junior Translator): Master‟s degree of a accredited University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master‟s degree of a accredited University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master‟s degree of a accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; Or Master‟s degree of a accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master‟s Degree of a accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level and accredited Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
• For post code “D‟ (Senior Hindi Translator/Senior Translator): Master‟s degree of a accredited University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master‟s degree of a accredited University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master‟s degree of a accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master‟s degree of a accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master‟s Degree of a accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level and accredited Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

வயது வரம்பு :

• 18 to 30 years as on 01.08.2026, i.e., candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2008 are eligible to apply

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• +5 Years for ST/SC  
• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
• Persons with Disabilities candidate:
  • +10 Years for UR  
  • +13 Years for OBC (NCL)  
  • +15 Years for ST/SC
• For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy

• Computer Based Examination (Paper-I)

Willing candidates may apply online through the link provided on the official website of the Official Website i.e. https://ssc.gov.in/. The link shall remain active from 23.04.2026 to 14.05.2026 after which the link shall be disabled. No new registration or modification in the online application form shall be permitted after the last date for submission of online application i.e.14.05.2026
