 he Reserve Bank of India has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification (Advt. No. RBISB/DA/01/2026-27) to fill 60 Officers in Grade ‘B’ vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this Reserve Bank of India i.e. https://opportunities.rbi.org.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 29.04.2026 for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 20.05.2026 at 06.00 PM

Officers in Grade ‘B’ Posts

கல்வி தகுதி : 

1. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (Direct Recruit-DR) – General Cadre – 
   • Essential: 
     • Graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum Sixty Percentage marks (Fifty Percentage for SC/ST/PwBD applicants, if the posts are reserved for them) or Post-Graduation in any discipline / Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum Fifty Five Percentage marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants, if the posts are reserved for them) in aggregate of all semesters / years.
2. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (Direct Recruit-DR) – DEPR Cadre – 
   • Essential: 
     • a) MA/ MSc in Economics or Master of Arts (MA)/ Master of Science (M.Sc) in courses such as Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, gricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, ADevelopment Economics and International Economics (where “Economics” is the principal constituent* of the curriculum/ syllabus) OR 
     • b) MA/ MSc in Finance or MA/ MSc in courses such as Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, International and Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, Agri Business Finance (where “Finance” is the principal constituent* of the curriculum / syllabus). 
     • c) For a) and b) above, minimum Fifty Five Percentage marks or an equivalent grade is required in aggregate of all semesters / years from an accredited Indian or Foreign University / Institute.
   • Desirable:
     • A Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in Economics, or research or teaching experience in economics, or publication in the field/ area of Economics in standard journals.
3. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (Direct Recruit-DR) – DSIM Cadre – 
   • Essential: 
     • a. Master’s Degree with a minimum Fifty Five Percentage marks in aggregate of all semesters/ years or an equivalent grade/ CGPA in Quantitative Economics/ Econometrics/ Informatics/ Statistics / Mathematics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics or any other related branches of these areas from an accredited Indian/ Foreign University/ Institute approved/ recognized by Government/ UGC/ AICTE; OR 
     • b. Master’s Degree with a minimum Fifty Five Percentage marks in aggregate of all semesters/ years or an equivalent grade/ CGPA in Data Science / Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Big Data Analytics or any other related branches of these areas from an accredited Indian/ Foreign University/ Institute approved/ recognized by Government/ UGC/ AICTE; OR 
     • c. Four-year Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum Sixty Percentage marks in aggregate of all semesters/ years or an equivalent grade/ CGPA in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Quantitative Economics/ Econometrics/ Informatics/ Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Big Data Analytics or any other related branches of these areas from an accredited Indian/ Foreign University/ Institute approved/ recognized by Government/ UGC/ AICTE.
   • Desirable: 
   • Candidates with a Doctorate in topics related to above subjects will be given preference. 
     • Research or teaching experience and publication in standard journals will be considered as an additional qualification.

வயது வரம்பு :

• A Applicant must have attained the Minimum age of  21 (Twenty One) years and must not have attained the Maximum age of 30 (Thirty) years on April 01, 2026 i.e., Applicants must have been born not earlier than April 02, 1996 and not later than April 01, 2005.

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• +5 Years for ST/SC  
• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
• Persons with Disabilities candidate:
  • +10 Years for UR  
  • +13 Years for OBC (NCL)  
  • +15 Years for ST/SC
• For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy
