 The Indian Air Force has released its latest official recruitment notification (Advt. No. 01/2026) to fill the 47 Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Hindi Typist, Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) Posts. The application form should be downloaded in PDF format from the official website @ https://indianairforce.nic.in/. The last date for the receipt of Filled application along with all enclosures is 31.05.2026. Before submitting an application, candidates must carefully read the Indian Air Force Group C 2026 notification and verify their eligibility

Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Hindi Typist, Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) Posts

                                  47 பணியிடம் காலியாக உள்ளது.

கல்வி தகுதி : 

1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) [Time allowed 10 minutes]
2. Hindi Typist – 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) [Time allowed 10 minutes]
3. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) – Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university; Must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicles; Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism; Minimum two years’ experience in driving motor vehicles.

1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 18 to 25 Years
2. Hindi Typist – 18 to 25 Years 
3. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) – 18 to 25 Years 

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• +5 Years for ST/SC  
• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
• Persons with Disabilities candidate:
  • +10 Years for UR  
  • +13 Years for OBC (NCL)  
  • +15 Years for ST/SC
• For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy

2. Hindi Typist – Level-2
3. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) – Level-2

• Skill Test/ Practical Test/ Physical Test

• Eligible candidates can apply to any of the listed Air Force Stations of their choice, subject to vacancies and qualifications. The application must follow the format at Annexure-I. 
• Applications must be supported by self-attested copies of the following: 
• Education Qualification 
• Age proof 
• Technical Qualification 
• Experience Certificate 
• Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates issued by competent civil authorities) 
• PwBD certificate (if applicable)
