Customs Chennai has released the recruitment notification to fill the 02 Halwai – Cook, Assistant Halwai – Cook Posts. The application form should be downloaded in PDF format from the official website @ https://chennaicustoms.gov.in/. The last date for the receipt of Filled application along with all enclosures is 31.12.2025. கல்வி தகுதி :

1. Halwai – Cook – 
   • 10th Class pass with certificate or Diploma in catering 
   • Experience- Two years in a Government Department Undertaking. 
   • A Trade Skill Test for cooking shall be conducted to assess suitability of the candidate
2. Assistant Halwai – Cook – 
   • 10th class pass from a recognized Board Certificate or Diploma in catering institute; 
   • One year experience in cooking. 
   • A trade Skill Test for cooking including maintenance of hygiene shall be conducted Departmental Promotion Committee suitability of the candidate

வயது வரம்பு :

1. Halwai – Cook – 18 – 25 years
2. Assistant Halwai – Cook – 18 – 25 years

சம்பளம் : 

1. Halwai – Cook – Rs.21,700/- to  69, 100/- 
2. Assistant Halwai – Cook – Rs.19,900/- to 63,200/-

• Written Examination 
• Trade / Skill Test

• Four unsigned passport-sized photos, two self-addressed, unstamped envelopes measuring 25 cm by 12 cm, and the appropriate, attested photo copies of educational qualifications, mark sheets, proof of age, category certificates, essential and desirable qualification certificates, etc., should be included with the application in the format specified below, neatly typed or handwritten in A4 size paper, duly signed, along with a left-hand thumb impression.

The left upper corner of the envelope must also include the name of the position being applied for as well as the category
