Does Amazon provide insurance for me?
Amazon will cover all the drivers under Amazon Flex under a Group Accident policy,

This policy will cover you and remain valid only when you are using
Amazon Flex to deliver packages to a customer or are returning to your designated
location to return undelivered packages. Here are some details:

A grey background means that you haven't set availability for that day,
or the day is in the past. Orange dots indicate
that you have accepted an offer for a delivery block on that day.
If you can't make a delivery block or are going to be late,
you should forfeit it at least 45 minutes ahead of time.
What if I can't make a delivery block I confirmed?
If you anticipate that you'll be late or unavailable for a delivery block,
go to Calendar in the Amazon Flex app,
tap the day of a scheduled block, and tap Forfeit block
at least 45 minutes before the block start time.

Making Deliveries
Is there anything I need to bring or special clothes
I need to wear?
As an independent contractor,
you can bring anything with you to aid in your deliveries and
you are free to choose your attire while
delivering with Amazon Flex. However,
for safety purposes,
it is mandatory for you to wear closed shoes(both front and back)
and bring a helmet(ISI4151 with chinstrap and face shields)
while coming to the station for your scheduled block.
How do I know where to go for my block?

What do I do when I arrive for my block?
When you arrive at an Amazon Delivery Station,
please park your vehicle in the designated location.

who will check your ID and provide an Arrival
QR code for you to scan with the app.
After you're done scanning and loading all the packages,
tap Swipe to Finish,
and proceed ahead with delivering the packages.
What should I do after I have attempted all
the packages?
Once you have finished attempting all the packages assigned,
you must return undelivered packages, your bag,
the mobile payment device and the cash collected to
the original pick-up location. Your eligibility
for Amazon Flex will be affected if you fail to
meet delivery service requirements.
Once you have completed the handover, you are good to go,
but feel free to check for more available blocks.
What do I do if the customer rejects a delivery?
If you attempt to deliver an order and the customer
rejects any or all of the packages,
scan the package and update the status to
“Rejected” in the app, and note the reason
based on the customer’s feedback.
Customers may reject an order if they’ve changed their mind,
their packages don’t match their order,
or if they feel the package has been damaged.
At the end of your block,
please return any undelivered packages to their
original pick-up location.

What is the delivery cut-off time for deliveries?
Amazon.in: You should be done delivering Amazon.in packages
by 9 p.m., but we understand that sometimes
there are unexpected delays, such as a late dispatch,
that may cause you to run late. When you are running
late due to these delays, please continue delivering
until 9:30 pm so that customers can still get their
packages that day. Any packages delivered before
9:30 pm will not affect your standing.
If you still have undelivered packages at 9:30 pm,
please return them to your delivery station by 10 am the next day.

Can a passenger be in my vehicle with
me when I'm delivering?
As some pickups and deliveries may take you away
from your vehicle for long periods of time,
bringing passengers or pets, except for service animals,
when delivering with Amazon Flex may not be a good idea.
Note that Amazon’s commercial insurance will not cover
any passengers in your vehicle in case of an accident.
If you still decide to bring passengers, Amazon expects
that you will comply with the following:

This is because you will have to drive through our facilities

Earnings
When will I get paid?
You can track your pay on the Earnings screen of the Amazon .
Flex app. Amazon Flex processes payments on
Wednesdays via direct deposit to the bank account
you provided during sign up.
What are earnings estimates based on?
Earnings estimates are based on an estimated
length of time (referred to as a block).
We aim to ensure that the number
of parcels you are assigned to deliver
within your block is realistic, taking into account traffic
congestion and the primary requirement to drive safely.
However, the actual time taken per delivery may vary
(because it could, occasionally, take less time or a
little more time than expected).
Do I have to pay taxes as an Amazon Flex driver?
The earnings over the week will be will be subject
to a with-holding tax of 1% as per the Govt. regulations.
The total payout will be net of taxes.
For ex: If you make INR 1000 during the week,
you will be receiving INR 990 into your account

PAN Card is mandatory for you to drive for
