Indian Army invites online  recruitment applications through Indian Army website (https://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/) for the following posts of 381 68th Short Service Commission (Tech) Men & Women Course (Apr 2027) Including Widows Of Defence Personnel For Tech and Non Tech (Non-UPSC) vacancies on regular basis. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, According to the official timeline, the online application portal opens today, 08.07.2026 at 03.00 PM, and interested applicants must submit their forms before the closing date on 06.08.2026 at 03.00 PM

கல்வி தகுதி : 

• For SSC(Tech): 
  • Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree (Graduate) course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree  (Graduate)  courseare eligible to apply. 
  • Candidates studying in the final year of Engineeringdegreecourseshould be able to submit proof of passing Engineering Degree Examination alongwith mark sheets of all semesters/years by 01 Apr 2027 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of trainingat Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA)
• Note: 
  • Educational Qualification for Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness. 
    • SSCW (Non Tech) (Non UPSC): Graduation in any Discipline.
    • SSCW (Tech): B.E./B.Tech in any EngineeringStream

வயது வரம்பு :

1. For SSC(Tech) – 20 to 27 years as on 01 Apr 2027 (Candidates born between 01 Apr 2000 and 31 Mar 2007, both days inclusive). 
2. For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only. SSCW(Non Tech) [Non Tech] and SSCW(Tech) – A maximum of 35 years of age as on 01 Apr 2027.

1. Lieutenant Entry – Level-10 Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/-

Eligible candidates shall apply online between 08.07.2026 at 03.00 PM and 06.08.2026 at 03.00 PM (both days inclusive) through the ‘Careers’ page of the Indian Army website https://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/ after carefully going through the instructions given in Official Notification.
