The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services, Puducherry has released its latest official recruitment notification (Advt. No. 12020/1/E1/2026/DHFWS) to fill the 36 ANM Posts.The online application portal at the official website (https://recruitment.py.gov.in/) will remain active from 28.02.2026 at 10.00 AM to 08.03.2026 at 03.00 PM. பதவிகள் :

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) (Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted – Non Ministerial) Posts

காலிப்பணியிடங்கள்  :

                                 36 பணியிடம் காலியாக உள்ளது.

கல்வி தகுதி : 

• A pass in 12th Std. (H.Sc.) or its equivalent. 
• Diploma in Multipurpose Health Worker (Female) or Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. 
• Registration as a Midwife in any one of the State Nursing and Midwifery Council in India. 
• Should have studied the particular regional language (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam) as one of the subjects in the SSLC level or above.

Nativity / Residence: 

• Those who are natives of the Union Territory of Puducherry and residents by continuous residence in the U.T. for the last 5 years immediately preceding the date of notification only are eligible to apply for the posts. 
• The applicants ON SELECTION shall furnish the fresh Nativity/Residence Certificate issued by an Officer of the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management not below the rank of Deputy Tahsildar at the time of certificate verification.

• For UR Applicants – Between 18 and 30 years

Age Relaxation: 

• SC: +5 years
• MBC/OBC/EBC/BCM: +3 years 
• PwBD: +13 years

• Eligible candidates shall apply online between 28.02.2026 at 10.00 AM and 08.03.2026 at 03.00 PM (both days inclusive) through the ‘Careers’ page of the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services, Puducherry website https://recruitment.py.gov.in/ after carefully going through the instructions given in Official Notification. 
• Hardcopy of the downloaded application along with necessary enclosures should reach “The Director, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services, Victor Simmonel Street, Old Maternity Hospital Building, Puducherry – 605 001” on or before 05.00 pm on 11.03.2026.
