NIFTEM-T has released the recruitment notification No: A/2017/2026 Date: 01.02.2026 to fill the 09 Teaching Faculty Posts. This online facility will be available on the Official website @ https://niftem-t.ac.in/ from 01.02.2026 to 30.02.2026. கல்வி தகுதி : 

1. Associate Professor (Food Process Engineering/Agricultural Process Engineering) – 
   • Essential Qualifications: 
   • Doctoral Degree in Post-Harvest Technology, Food Technology/Food Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Agricultural Process Engineering or Agricultural Engineering / Chemical Engineering specialized in Food Processing. 
   • Doctoral degree in relevant engineering with 6 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band – 3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/Rs.6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000 (i.e., Level 10/11/12 of 7th CPC) having made contribution to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact. OR 
   • Master Degree in relevant Engineering subject with 10 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band: 3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/Rs.6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000 (i.e., Level 10/11/12 of 7th CPC) having made contribution to research/teaching/extension Education as evidenced by published work/innovations and impact. 
   • Experience: 
   • Certificate in support of experience should be in proper format i.e., it should be on the Organization’s letter head bearing the date of issue, specified period of work, pay scale and specified job description issued by the “Competent Authority” with name, designation and seal.
2. Assistant Professor (Food Process Engineering / Agricultural Process Engineering) – Masters Degree in Post-Harvest Technology, Food Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Food Technology, Agricultural Process Engineering or Agricultural Engineering / Chemical Engineering, specialized in Food Processing 
3. Assistant Professor (Agricultural Entomology) – Masters Degree in Agricultural Entomology
4. Assistant Professor (Livestock Product Technology / Meat Science and Technology) – Masters degree in Veterinary / Animal Sciences with specialization in Livestock Products Technology / Meat Science and Technology 
5. Assistant Professor (Food Science / Food Science and Nutrition) – Masters Degree in Food Science / Food Science and Nutrition 
6. Assistant Professor (Food Science and Technology) – Masters Degree in Food Science and Technology / Food Technology 

வயது வரம்பு :

1. Associate Professor – Not Exceeding 47 Years
2. Assistant Professor – Not exceeding 32 Years and 35 Years in case of Ph.D Holders
