Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invites online  recruitment applications through TNPSC website (https://tnpsc.gov.in/) (Advertisement No. 740 Notification No. 07 / 2026 Date: 11.08.2026) for the following posts of 821 Combined Civil Services Examination – II (Group II and IIA Services)  vacancies on regular basis. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, According to the official timeline, the online application portal opens today, 11.08.2026, and interested applicants must submit their forms before the closing date on 09.09.2026

கல்வி தகுதி : 

• Most posts require a degree from any University recognized by the UGC.
• Specific posts have additional requirements — e.g., Deputy Commercial Tax Officer requires B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., Assistant Section Officer (Law) requires a B.L. Degree, Assistant Section Officer cum Programmer requires a Master’s degree in Computer Application/IT/Computer Science.
• Candidates should possess the prescribed educational qualification on the date of notification (11.08.2026).

For SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC(OBCM)/BCM candidates: Age limits are relaxed further (18–37 years for most posts, with higher limits for specific posts like Probation Officer and Executive Officer Grade III).

Age Concessions: Persons with Benchmark Disability, Ex-Servicemen, and Destitute Widows are eligible for additional age relaxation as specified in the notification. No maximum age limit shall mean candidates should not have completed 60 years as on 01.07.2026.
