Indian Air Force invites ONLINE applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for selection test on 30 March 2026/ 31 March 2026 to join the IAF as an AGNIVEERVAYU. This online facility will be available on the Official website @ https://iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in/ from 12.01.2026 at 11.00 AM to 01.02.2026 at 11.00 PM. Before submitting an application, candidates must carefully read the Indian Air Force Airmen Intake 01/2027 2026 notification and verify their eligibility

Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 Posts

கல்வி தகுதி :

• Science Subjects:
  • Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate and 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in English. OR
  •  Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ CS (Computer Science)/ Instrumentation Technology / IT (Information Technology)) from Central, State and UT recognised Polytechnic institute with 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate and 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR 
  • Passed 02 years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate and 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate (12th)/ Matriculation (10th), if English is not a subject in Vocational Course). 
• Other than Science Subjects:
  • Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate and 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in English. OR Passed two years Vocational Course from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% (Fifty Percentage) marks in aggregate and 50 marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

Age Limit for Indian Air Force: 

• Date of Birth Block. Applicants born between 01 Jan 2006 and 01 Jul 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply. 
• In case, The maximum age limit as of the enrollment date should be 21 years old if the candidate passes every step of the selection process

சம்பளம் : 

• An Agniveer package of 30,000/-per month with a predetermined annual increment will be paid to Agniveervayu registered in this scheme.

Terminal Benefits – Seva Nidhi Package:

• Phase – II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT-I and PFT-II), Adaptability Test-I, Adaptability Test-II
•  Phase – III: Medical Examination
