கல்வி தகுதி :

• Must have passed 8th Grade. 
• Must be able to read and write in Tamil. 
• Ability to ride a bicycle or a two-wheeler.

வயது வரம்பு :

• General Category – 18 to 32 Years
• Backward Classes – 18 to 34 Years
• Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities – 18 to 34 Years
• Adi Dravidar – 18 to 37 Years
• Adi Dravidar (Arunthathiyar) – 18 to 37 Years
• Scheduled Tribes – 18 to 37 Years
• General Category (Ex-Servicemen) – 18 to 50 Years 
• Other Category (Ex-Servicemen) –18 to 55 Years
• Differently abled persons are eligible for an age relaxation of up to ten years above the prescribed maximum age limit.

தேர்வு செய்யும் முறை:

• Communal Rotation and Priority basis. 
• Performance in a Reading and Writing Proficiency Test. 
• Marks obtained in a Personal Interview. 
• Certificate Verification.
