UPSC has released the recruitment notification No: 13/2025 to fill the 213 Additional Government Advocate, Additional Legal Adviser, Assistant Legal Adviser, Assistant Government Advocate, Deputy Government Advocate, Deputy Legal Adviser, Lecturer (Urdu), Medical Officer, Accounts Officer, Assistant Director Posts. This online facility will be available on the Official website @ https://upsc.gov.in/ from 13.09.2025 to 02.10.2025. Before submitting an application, candidates must carefully read the UPSC Account Officer 2025 notification and verify their eligibility

கல்வி தகுதி :

1. Additional Government Advocate – 
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent. 
Experience: He must have served in a State Judicial Service for at least thirteen years,
held a high-level position in a State’s legal department for at least thirteen years, been
 a Central Government employee with at least thirteen years of legal affairs experience,
or be a licensed attorney.
2. Additional Legal Adviser – 
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience: He must be a qualified lawyer, have served in a State Judicial Service for
at least thirteen years, have held a high-level position in a State’s legal department for
at least thirteen years, or be a Central Government employee with at least thirteen years
of experience in legal matters.
3. Assistant Legal Adviser – 
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience: He must have served in a State Judicial Service for at least seven years,
held a high-level position in a State’s legal department for at least seven years, worked
 for the Central Government for at least seven years with experience in legal matters,
have a Master’s degree in law and at least five years of teaching or research experience
 in law, or be a qualified lawyer with at least thirty years of experience.
4. Assistant Government Advocate – 
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent. 
Experience: He must have served for at least seven years in a State Judicial Service,
held a high-level position in a State’s legal department for at least seven years, worked
 for the Central Government for at least seven years with experience in legal matters,
has a Master’s degree in law and at least five years of teaching or research experience in
 law, or has at least thirty years of experience as a qualified lawyer.
5. Deputy Government Advocate – 
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent. 
Experience: He must have served in a State Judicial Service for at least ten years, held
a high-level position in a State’s legal department for at least ten years, worked for the
Central Government for at least ten years with experience in legal matters, held a
Master’s degree in law with at least eight years of teaching or research experience in
law, or been a licensed attorney for at least thirty-five years.
6. Deputy Legal Adviser –
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience: He must be a member of a State Judicial Service for at least ten years,
 hold a senior position in a State’s legal department for at least ten years, be a Central Government employee with at least ten years of legal affairs experience, hold a Master’s
 degree in law with at least eight years of teaching or research experience in law, or be
 a qualified legal practitioner for at least thirty-five years.
7. Lecturer (Urdu) – Post Graduation in Urdu with B.Ed.
8. Medical Officer – A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the Chapter
 VI of National Medical Commission Act 2019.
9. Accounts Officer – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
10. Assistant Director – 
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree of a recognized University or Institution in
Social Work or Sociology or Economics or Anthropology or Social Anthropology or
Applied Anthropology or Statistics or Psychology or Geography or Mathematics (with
Statistics) 
Experience: Three years of experience conducting social welfare surveys or research,
including data analysis and report production.
வயது வரம்பு :
1. Additional Government Advocate – 50 years for UR and 55 years for STs.
2. Additional Legal Adviser – 50 years for UR.
3. Assistant Legal Adviser – 40 years for UR/EWSs, 43 years for OBCs, 45 years for
SCs/STs and 50 years for PwBDs.
4. Assistant Government Advocate – 40 years for UR.
5. Deputy Government Advocate – 50 years for UR.
6. Deputy Legal Adviser – 50 years for UR/EWSs, 53 years for OBCs, 55 years for
SCs/STs and 56 years for PwBDs.
7. Lecturer (Urdu) – 40 years for EWSs, 45 years for STs and 50 years for PwBDs.
8. Medical Officer – 40 years for UR/EWSs, 45 years for SCs/STs/ALC, 50 years for
PwBDs.
9. Accounts Officer – 35 years for UR/EWSs, 40 years for STs/ALC, 45 years for PwBDs.
10. Assistant Director – 35 years for UR, 38 years for OBCs and 45 years for PwBDs.

For SC/ ST Applicants: 5 years
For OBC Applicants: 3 years
For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: 10 years
For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: 15 years
For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: 13 years
For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy
