TN Stationery and Printing Department has released the recruitment notification No: B2/19303/2025 to fill the 56 Assistant Offset Machine Technician, Junior Electrician, Junior Mechanic, Plumber and Electrician Posts. கல்வி தகுதி :

1. Assistant Offset Machine Technician – 1. Minimum general educational qualifications (S.S.L.C) as prescribed in Schedule I to the Tamil Nadu State and sub-ordinate Service Rules. 2. Must Possess Diploma in Printing Technology or Technical Trade Certificate in Litho  Offset Machine from a recognized Institution by any State / Central Government. 3. Experience: a) Diploma holders must have operated an offset printing machine in a reputable  printing press for at least a year. b) A minimum of three years of experience operating an offset printing machine in  a reputable printing press is required for holders of trade certificates.

2. Junior Electrician – 1. Must have passed the S.S.L.C examination or its equivalent ; and 2. Must possess the appropriate Technical Trade Certificate (Electrician) from any of the institutions approved and recognized by the Government or must have  put in the minimum period of apprenticeship (Electrician) prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (Central Act LII of 1961) Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given in the following order:— i) Candidates who have undergone as apprentice in Government Press and  ii) possess the requisite educational and technical qualifications; iii) Candidates who have undergone as apprentice in Government Press and possess the requisite educational qualification but do not possess the prescribed technical qualification subject to their qualifying in a Trade Test conducted by the Director of Stationery and Printing, Chennai; iv) Others possessing the required educational and technical qualifications; v) Mazdoors under the age of thirty-five who have worked for the Government Press  for at least two years and who have the necessary training and credentials.

3. Junior Mechanic – 1. Must have passed the S.S.L.C. Examination or its equivalent and; 2.Must possess the appropriate Technical Trade Certificate (Mechanic) from any of the Institutions approved and recognized by the Government or must have put in the minimum period of apprenticeship prescribed under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 (Central Act LII of 1961). Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given in the following order:- i) candidates with the necessary technical and educational credentials who have worked as apprentices at the Government Press; ii) Candidates who have worked as Government Press apprentices and who meet the educational requirements but lack the necessary technical skills, provided they pass a  trade test administered by the Director of Stationery and Printing, Chennai-2; iii) other candidates who meet the requirements in terms of both education and technical skills; iv) Mazdoors below thirty-five years of age who have served for a period of not less  than two years in Government Press and who possess requisite educational and technical qualifications.

4. Plumber and Electrician – 1. Must have passed the S.S.L.C examination or its equivalent ; and 2. Must possess Technical Trade Certificate (ITI) in Plumbering.
