1. Lecturer – Architectural Assistantship (SW) – B.Arch or 4 year Degree in allied
field with First Class or equivalent. (OR) Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in concerned disciplines with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.

2. Lecturer – ECE – B.E. / B.Tech / B.S in concerned discipline with First Class or
equivalent. (OR) Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in concerned disciplines with
First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.

3. Lecturer – English – Master’s degree in appropriate subject with First Class or
equivalent. (OR) A Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent in a concerned subject
and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the
CSIR or a similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), like SLET /
SET.

4. Lecturer – Physics – Master’s degree in appropriate subject with First Class or
equivalent. (OR) A Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent in a concerned
subject and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the
UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC),
like SLET / SET.

5. Lecturer – Chemistry – Master’s degree in appropriate subject with First Class or
equivalent. (OR) A Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent in a concerned subject
and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the
CSIR or a similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), like SLET
/ SET.

6. Lecturer – Mechanical / First Year General Engg. – B.E. / B.Tech / B.S in concerned
discipline with First Class or equivalent. (OR) Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in
concerned disciplines with First Class in either of the two at the time of selection.

7. Physical Director – Physical Education – A Master’s degree with First Class or
equivalent and have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC
or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), like SLET/SET.

8. Skilled Assistant – Architectural Assistantship (SW) – An Industrial Training
Institute (ITI) / National Trade Certificate (NTC) / National Apprenticeship Training
Certificate in the Architectural Draughtsman/ Draughtsman (Civil) trade.

9. Skilled Assistant – Workshop First Year General Engineering – An Industrial
Training Institute (ITI) / National Trade Certificate (NTC) / National Apprenticeship
Training Certificate in the Fitter trade.

10. Junior Mechanic – Modern Office Practice – Pass in SSLC and Experience in
Typewriter Mechanism for a period of not less than one year in Government
Polytechnics / Special Institutions or in the Typewriting firms approved by the State
Government or Technical Institutions, approved by Chairman, Board of Examinations,
Chennai.

11. Junior Assistant – Office – S.S.L.C.

12. Typist – Office – 1. S.S.L.C. 2. Must have passed the Government Technical
Examination in Typewriting :- i) by a higher or senior grade in both Tamil and English
(or) ii) by a higher or senior grade in Tamil and a lower or junior grade in English (or)
iii) by a higher or senior grade in English and a lower or junior grade in Tamil. Computer Qualification : Applicants should have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on
Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.
