National Scholarship Portal 2020-21 (NSP) is the central portal to apply for various state level, central level and UGC scholarship schemes. NSP 2.0 application forms have been released online. NSP application last date is October 15, 2020, for central schemes. Students can apply for pre and post-matric scholarship through the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in. While filling national scholarship online form 2020 21, the system suggests the schemes for which a student is eligible, based on the information entered. Chandigarh & Uttarakhand, and other state students can apply for post-matric & pre-Matric Scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal at www scholarships gov in 2020-21.     UGC (University Grants Commission) is the national-level organization who supports students financially to pursue their higher education in India.     • A home page will be open in front of you

    • On the home page, you have to click on get it on Google Play
    • Now you have to click on install
    • The application will be downloaded in your mobile phone

    Procedure To Fill Institute’s Registration Form

    • Visit the official website of national scholarship portal
    • A home page will be open in front of you
    • On the homepage, you need to click on Institute login
    • Login: Now a login form will be open in front of you where you have to:-
      • Select academic year
      • Enter user ID
      • Now Enter password
      • Enter captcha code
      • Click to login into the NSP profile
    • Now a dialogue box will appear on your screen which will ask you to click on ok option. You need to click on the ok option.
    • Registration form: Now a registration form will be open in front of you.
      •  On the registration form, first of all, you have to upload the identity proof of the institute’s Nodal officer. For this purpose, you need to click on choose file and select the image. Keep in mind that the image should be in PDF or JPEG format and not more than 200 KB in size. After that, you need to click on upload identity proof.
      • Now you need to enter all the required details in the registration form like:
        • AISHE/DISE/NCVT code
        • Name of Institute
        • Do you want to change the name as per AISHE/DISE directory in NSP
        • Institute nature
        • Affiliated board/university name
        • Total student strength in the institute
        • Institute address
        • Institute state
        • District
        • URL of the institute’s website
        • Head of institution detail
        • Details of designated Institute Nodal officer for NSP
    • OTP: An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number of the Nodal officer of the Institute. You need to enter the OTP in the OTP box and fill all other relevant information
    • You need to fill all this information very carefully and before finally submitting the form you have to save the entered information by clicking the save form option after that you need to click on final submit
    • Reference ID: After finally submitting the form a reference ID will be generated and the form will be transferred to district Nodal officer
    • Print Out: You need to take the printout of this form and submit it to the district Nodal officer. The form should be duly signed and stamped.

    Procedure To Update Profile Of The Institute

    If the registration form is approved by the district Nodal officer then the new password will be sent on the registered mobile number of the Institute Nodal officer. In order to make the profile functional the institute Nodal officer is required to to login with new password and follow the steps given below:-

    • Visit the official website of national scholarship portal
    • A home page will be open in front of you
    • On the homepage, you need to click on Institute login
    • Login: Now a login page will appear before you where you have to:
      • Select academic year
      • Enter password
      • Now enter user ID
      • Enter captcha code
      • Click to login into the NSG profile
    • OTP: Now OTP will be sent to the institute Nodal officer’s registered mobile number. You are required to enter the OTP and click on confirm OTP
    • Reset Password: Now a new page will be open in front of you where you have to reset your password. After that, you are required to click on submit. Now you need to click on continue to login.
    • Update Profile: Now the institute Nodal officer is required to update the profile. For this purpose click on administration. After that click on update profile.
    • OTP: Now OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number. You are required to enter the OTP and click on confirm OTP.
    • Institute profile update form: Now a form will be open in front of you where you have to update information (if any):
      • Institute details
        • Institute name
        • The institute nature
        • Board or university name
        • Course level offered
        • Board state
        • DISE/AISHE/NCVT code
        • Institute address
        • Institute state
        • District
        • Institute Pincode
        • Institute taluka aur bloc
        • Upload registered certificate

    • Final Submit: Now you need to click on final submit. After that, a message stating your profile has been updated successfully will be displayed on your screen
