The Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research has officially announced a massive 2026  recruitment Notification (Advt. No. IGCAR/03/2026) to fill 200 Apprentice vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research i.e. https://www.igcar.gov.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 20.07.2026 for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 19.08.2026

  • Draughtsman (Mechanical) – Draughtsman (Mechanical)
  • Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning – Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • Plumber – Plumber
  • Welder (Gas &Electric) – Welder
  • Horticulture Assistant – Horticulture
  • Wood Work Technician/Carpenter – Wood Work Technician/Carpenter

வயது வரம்பு :

• The minimum age is 18years and maximum age is 24 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• +5 Years for ST/SC  
• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
• Persons with Disabilities candidate:
  • +10 Years for UR  
  • +13 Years for OBC (NCL)  
  • +15 Years for ST/SC
• For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy

சம்பளம் : 

• ITI with two years duration – Rs. 11040/-
• ITI with one year duration – Rs. 10560/-

விண்ணப்பிக்கும் முறை :

• Eligible and interested candidates are required to register in the web portal https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for enrollment as Apprentice. The Applications will not be accepted without registration and without unique Registration number (For eg: AXXXXXXXXXX) obtained from the above mentioned web portal.
• Candidates have to mandatorily complete their AADHAR (e-KYC) verification of their enrollment in https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in portal and shall provide the details of registered e-mail id and mobile number while registered on e-KYC in their Application.
• Eligible candidates shall apply online between 20.07.2026 and 19.08.2026 (both days inclusive) through the ‘Careers’ page of the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research website https://www.igcar.gov.in/ after carefully going through the instructions given in Official Notification.
