The Staff Selection Commission has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification (Advt. No. HQ-C11018/1/2026-C-1) to fill 12256 Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this Staff Selection Commission i.e. https://ssc.gov.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 21.05.2026 for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 22.06.2026

  1. Assistant Audit Officer (Central Cadre): 
    • Essential Qualifications: Bachelor‟s Degree from an accredited University or Institute. 
    • Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics
  2. Assistant Audit Officer (State Cadre):
    • Essential Qualifications: 
      • Bachelor‟s Degree from an accredited University or Institute. 
      • Proficiency in the Regional/official language of the State, i.e. ability to read, write, speak and understand the language with proficiency at matriculation level. Candidates must possess a certificate of proficiency in the Regional/official language of the State concerned at the level of Secondary School Examination from a recognised State/Central Board of Education. 
    • Desirable Qualifications: 
      • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary (CS) or M.Com or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
  3. Assistant Accounts Officer (State Cadre): 
    • Essential Qualifications: 
      • Bachelor‟s Degree in any Stream from an accredited University or Institute. 
      • Proficiency in the Regional/official language of the State, i.e. ability to read, write, speak and understand the language with proficiency at matriculation level. Candidates must possess a certificate of proficiency in the Regional/official language of the State concerned at the level of Secondary School Examination from a recognised State/Central Board of Education.
    • Desirable Qualifications:
      • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary (CS) or M.Com or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
  4. Junior Statistical Officer: 
    • Essential Qualifications: 
      • Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject from an accredited University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; Or Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduate level. 
  5. Statistical Investigator Grade-II: 
    • Essential Qualifications:
      • Bachelor degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Demography or Population Studies or Operation Research or Information Technology or Computer  Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Application or Data Science or Artificial Intelligence from an accredited University or recognized Institute. 
  6. All other Posts: 
    • Essential Qualifications:
      • Bachelor‟s Degree from an accredited University or equivalent.
