The Sashastra Seema Bal has released its latest official recruitment notification (Advt. No. 524/RC/SSB/Combined Advt./CT to SI (Non – GD)/ 2025) to fill the 827 Constable (Driver, Veterinary, Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter, Carpenter, Nursing Orderly) Posts. Candidates may get the details of On-line Application, Detailed Advertisement, General Instructions and apply Online on the official Web-site of this Sashastra Seema Bal i.e. https://ssb.gov.in/. The link for submission of On-line Application Form will remain active from 21.03.2026 to 20.04.2026

Constable (Driver, Veterinary, Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter, Carpenter, Nursing Orderly) Posts

காலிப்பணியிடங்கள்  :

                                 827 பணியிடம் காலியாக உள்ளது.

கல்வி தகுதி : 

• Constable (Veterinary) –
  • 10th class pass with Science as main subject from a recognized Board.
  • 01 year experience in treatment of different species of animals in an accredited Veterinary Hospital.
• Constable (Driver) only for male –
  • 10th class pass from a recognized Board.
  • Must possess a valid HMV (Heavy Vehicle Driving) License.
• Constable (Gardener, Washerman, Barber, Waiter, Water Carrier, Cobbler & Tailor) –
  • 10th/Matriculation or equivalent. AND any one of the following:
    • 2 years work experience in respective trades; OR
    • 1 year certificate course from ITI/Vocational Institute + at least 1 year experience; OR
    • 2 years Diploma from ITI in the trade. (b) Must qualify the trade test.
• Constable (Carpenter) –
  • 10th pass from a recognized Board.
  • 2 years experience in trade OR 1-year ITI certificate with 1-year experience OR 2-year Diploma in trade from ITI.
• Constable (Nursing Orderly) –
  • 10th pass with Science.
  • Must possess First Aid Certificate from St. John Ambulance Association or Red Cross Society.
  • 1-year experience in a relevant field.

வயது வரம்பு :

1. Constable (Veterinary) –18 to 27 Years
2. Constable (Driver) only for male – 18 to 27 Years
3. Constable (Gardener, Washerman, Barber, Waiter, Water Carrier, Cobbler & Tailor) – 18 to 23 Years
4. Constable (Carpenter) – 18 to 25 Years
5. Constable (Nursing Orderly) – 18 to 27 Years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• +5 Years for ST/SC  
• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
• For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Standard Test (PST) 
• Computer Based Test
• Skill Test
• Documentation & Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
• Review Medical Examination (RME) 
• Certificate Verification
