 The Railway Recruitment Board has released its latest official recruitment notification (Advt. No. 01/2026) to fill the 11127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Posts. Candidates may get the details of On-line Application, Detailed Advertisement, General Instructions and apply Online on the official Web-site of this Railway Recruitment Board i.e. www.rrbapply.gov.in/. The link for submission of On-line Application Form will remain active from 15.05.2026 to 14.06.2026

Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Posts

காலிப்பணியிடங்கள்  :

                                 11127 பணியிடம் காலியாக உள்ளது.

கல்வி தகுதி : 

• A) Matriculation / SSLC/ 10th plus ITI from accredited institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic (Radio &TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Refrigeration & Air- Conditioning Mechanic, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist,. (OR) Completion of the Matriculation / SSLC / 10th plus course and Act apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above (OR) 
• B) Matriculation / SSLC / 10th plus 03 years Diploma Holders in Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering (OR) Combination of various disciplines of these Engineering Streams from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI. 
• Note: Degree in the Engineering Streams as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

வயது வரம்பு :

1. Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) – 18 to 30 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• +5 Years for ST/SC  
• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
• Persons with Disabilities candidate:
  • +10 Years for UR  
  • +13 Years for OBC (NCL)  
  • +15 Years for ST/SC
• For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy

சம்பளம் : 

1. Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) – Level 2 Rs.19,900/-

தேர்வு செய்யும் முறை:

• First Stage CBT (CBT-1)
• Second Stage CBT (CBT-2)
• Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) 
• Document Verification (DV)
• Medical Examination (ME)
