கல்வி தகுதி :
- Engineering Graduation in [Civil/ Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrumentation]
- Candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NC must have 60% aggregate whereas candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD (VH/HH/OH/MD) must have 50% aggregate marks in all years/semesters in the qualifying examination.
- Engineering Graduates in Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation streams who have completed Engineering Graduation after 01.04.2023 onwards are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed engineering prior to 01.04.2023 are not eligible for apprenticeship training.

- For UR Applicants: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
- For SC/ ST Applicants: +5 years
- For OBC Applicants: +3 years
- For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: +10 years
- For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: +15 years
- For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: +13 years
- For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy
