 Coimbatore DHS has released the recruitment notification to fill the 114 Multi-purpose Hospital Worker, Account Assistant, Health Inspector, Staff Nurse, Hospital Worker, ANM, Cleaner, Optometrist, Medical Officer, Senior Lab Technician, Dental Technician, Lab – Store Assistant, Audiologist & Audiometric Assistant Posts. The application form should be downloaded in PDF format from the Coimbatore Collectate website @ https://coimbatore.nic.in/. The last date for the receipt of Filled application along with all enclosures is 24.03.2025. 1. Medical Officer –  MBBS

2. Health Inspector Gr II –  Must have passed plus two with Biology or Botany and Zoology.  Tamil language Proficiency at the S.S.L.C. level is required. The Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine requires two years of training in Multipurpose Health Worker (Male), Inspector, Or Sanitary Inspector Courses Offered By Reputable Private Institutions, Trusts, Universities, Or Prestigious Institutions, Such As Gandhigram  Rural Institute Training Course Certificate.

3. Staff Nurse – DGNM or B.Sc., Nursing

4. Hospital Worker/ Support Staff – Should have studied minimum 8th standard.  Reading and writing skills are required.

5. ANM – (i) Must have passed Higher Secondary (+2). (ii) Must have completed the two-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Training Program or Multi-Purpose Health Workers (Female) Training Program offered by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. (iv) Must be physically fit for camp life; (iii) A certificate of registration from the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.

6. Cleaner – 8 th Std Pass (Able to read and write in Tamil)

7. Optometrist – Bachelor of Optometry

8. Senior Lab Technician – Post Graduate Diploma in Genetic Diagnosis Technology/Cytogenetics  Degree in Biotechnology/ Human Genetics/ Molecular Biology/ Medical Laboratory Technician.  1 year in the field of Genetic Diagnostic/ Research Experience.

9. Lab – Store Assistant – DMLT with  1 year in the field of Medical Laboratory Diagnostic/Research Experience.

10. Dental Technician – Diploma in Dental Technology (with 2 Years post Qualification experience)

11. RMNCH+A Counsellor – Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Social Work / Públic Administration/Psycholo gy Sociology / Home Science/ Hospital & Health Management.  1-2 years work experience in Health Sector / concerned field

12. Programme – Administrative Assistant – Recognized Graduate Degree with  fluency in MS Office Package with one year experience of managing office and providing support of Health programme/National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), It is necessary to have drafting abilities and accounting knowledge.

13. Audiometric Assistant – Technical person with 1 year Diploma in Hearing, Language and speech (DHLS) from a RCI recognized institute.

14. Audiologist – B.Sc., (Speech & Hearing) from RCI Recognised

15. Account Assistant – B.Com degree with Tally

16. Multi-purpose Hospital Worker – 8th Std Pass (Able to read and write in Tamil)

17. Instructor for Young Hearing Impaired Children – Diploma training in young deaf and hearing handicapped (DTYDHH) from RCI recognized institute to look after the therapy and training of the young hearing-impaired children at the District Level.
