(i) For Geologist Group ‘A’ in Geological Survey of India – Master’s degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geo- Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies or Earth Science and Resource Management or Petroleum Geosciences or Geochemistry

(ii) For Geophysicist Group ‘A’ in Geological Survey of India and Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics) Group ‘A’ & Assistant (Geophysicist) Group ‘B’ in Central Ground Water Board – M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or M.Sc (Applied Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics)

(iii) For Chemist Group ‘A’ in Geological Survey of India and Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical) under Central Ground Water Board – M. Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry or Applied Chemistry

(iv) For Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology) Group ‘A’ and Assistant (Hydrogeologist) Group ‘B’ in Central Ground Water Board – Master’s degree in Geology or applied Geology or Marine Geology or Hydrogeology

For Assistant (Chemist) Group ‘B’ in Central Ground Water Board – Master of Science or Integrated Master of Science in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Physical Chemistry or Inorganic Chemistry or Hydro-Chemistry or Organic Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry

வயது வரம்பு :

A Applicants must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years [1st January, 2025] i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2004

தேர்வு செய்யும் முறை:

1. Stage-I : Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type Papers)

2. Stage-II : Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination (Conventional Type Papers),

Stage-III : Personality Test/Interview
