| 1. Interpreter (Tamil and Telugu) – (a) Any Bachelor’s Degree of a Recognized University in Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English, Tamil or Telugu as Subjects. (b) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Tamil to English and English to Tamil. (c) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Telugu to English and English to Telugu. Note: If selected, the candidates must pass the Translation Tests in Tamil to English and English to Tamil; Telugu to English and English to Telugu conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission within the period of Probation. |
| 2. Interpreter (Hindi) – (a) Any Bachelor’s Degree of a Recognized University in Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English and Hindi as Subjects. (b) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Hindi to English and English to Hindi. (c) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Tamil to English and English to Tamil. Note: If selected, the candidates must pass the Translation Tests in Hindi to English and English to Hindi; Tamil to English and English to Tamil within the period of Probation |
